NO. 479

My savingram No. 320 of 25th May 1950.

B.M.A.Stores.

During the recent Financial Conference it was agreed by the Hong Kong representatives that an attempt would be made to produce more accurate accounts in respect of the stores supplied by the War Office to which reference is made in the appendix to my savingram under reference, than had hitherto been possible. To facilitate this task it was agreed that copies of the detailed accounts in respect of these stores, which are held by the War Office, should be made available and I accordingly enclose copies of these detailed accounts.

2.

I should be grateful if you would arrange, as also agreed at the Conference, for the statement of accounts to reach me before 30th September 1950.

SECER.
